FleetTrack: Real Time Vehicle Tracking

Our telematics system, FleetTrack, gives fleet managers real-time visibility of their entire fleet. Using HD vehicle cameras, live GPS tracking, and rugged asset trackers, you gain complete visibility, wherever you are. Our cloud-based platform is powerful yet simple – helping you cut costs, protect drivers, stop theft and keep your business moving.

What Is Telematics?

Fleet telematics uses a combination of dash cams, GPS technology and onboard vehicle diagnostics to monitor, track, and manage cars, vans, lorries and whole fleets of vehicles. In doing so, fleet managers can access real-time footage and fleet data, make informed business decisions, and reduce operational costs.

Complete visibility

Pair HD footage and real-time streaming with telematics. Reduce false claims, protect your drivers.

Location Tracking

Track vehicle locations and delivery times in real time, allowing fleet managers to relay up-to-date information to customers.

Asset Tracking

Protect machinery, trailers and high-value equipment. Stop theft and misuse by keeping a close eye on your assets.

Reduce Costs

Track driver behaviours. Excellent cross-fleet scores can result in savings on fuel and insurance premiums.

FleetTrack Features

Your entire fleet, in real time

Precise GPS and telematics show real‑time location, trip history and driver behaviour, on a clean, cloud-based platform. Replay journeys, set up smart geofences, monitor speeding or harsh braking, and get instant alerts on unauthorised movements. The result? Smarter routes, safer drivers, instant ETA tracking for customers, and theft protection.

Monitor Driver Behaviour

FleetTrack can be used to monitor driver behaviour, including speed, harsh braking and other driving habits. By identifying risky practices, fleet managers can implement driver training programmes and improve safety across the fleet.

Cameras that cut the guesswork

Our dash‑cams pair HD video with GPS tracking for instant insight into every drive. Choose a forward‑facing or dual‑lens option for clear, cloud‑backed footage day or night. Stream live, set alerts and request clips in seconds from your telematics dashboard – total visibility, fewer headaches. Telematics made beautifully simple.

Asset tracking

Never lose sight of your assets. Our rugged, battery‑powered asset trackers give you real-time location updates, usage history and smart geofence alerts across on and off-road vehicles and machinery. View everything on one simple cloud dashboard, optimise use, stop theft, and unlock lower insurance costs.

Powerful options to suit your business

Whatever you need to track, we’ve got the device. Atom devices deliver simple GPS tracking. Stratus adds engine data, on-Board Diagnostics, and mileage for deeper insights. Neon's battery operation makes asset tracking simple. Vision pairs HD cameras with GPS for total visibility. Self‑install or let our engineers handle it.

All Your FleetTrack Questions Answered

What is telematics?

Telematics uses on board diagnostics and GPS tracking data to track and manage vehicles. Using a telematics device installed in the vehicle, data such as GPS location, speed, faults, trip distance, idle time, harsh braking and fuel consumption can be collated and sent to the cloud. Using smart data analysis, our telematics software can use this information to identify trends and efficiencies that will optimise fleet efficiency.

How does telematics track vehicles?

Fleet telematics is a combination of telecommunications and informatics (using computer systems to collect, store and manage data). It works by collecting data from vehicle sensors, GPS systems, and onboard computers, and analysing the data to provide actionable insights for fleet managers.

How do I install my device?

We offer a range of solutions, which our experts are happy to walk you through. Self‑install devices are plug‑and‑play and come with step‑by‑step videos. Hard‑wired devices can be fitted by one of our engineers if you prefer.

How does telematics improve my fleet management?

Telematics provides fleet managers with information about vehicle efficiency, location and fuel efficiency which can be used to optimise your fleet’s efficiency. It can track driver behaviour such as braking and accelerometer data, helping you to identify opportunities to improve driver safety, optimise fuel usage and reduce careless driving.

Can using telematics save me money?

Yes. Data from telematics systems can be used to optimise route management, reduce idle time and improve driver behaviour - all of which can reduce fuel usage. It can also be used to gather data on driver behaviours which can be used to actively lower insurance premiums.

Do I have to have a Fuel Card from you to access telematics?

No. You can access our telematics solution as a stand-alone product, with no need to have one of our fuel cards. However, having a fuel card can save you money on fuel, and time on administration, so we would recommend browsing our fuel card solutions.

Do I need to add cameras or dash cams?

Cameras add a layer of protection. In fcat, our cameras come complete with telematics functionality. Dash‑cams record HD footage (inside and out) and link with tracking data to protect your drivers and business against false claims.Stream live, download clips instantly and view it all through the platform dashboard. SD cards hold either 48 or 65 hours of footage, depending on the model selected. Downloaded footage automatically deletes after 31 days unless saved to another device. It is also possible to see short snippets of live footage via the dashboard.

What is asset tracking?

Asset tracking gives you full visibility and control over your plant, machinery, trailers and other high‑value items. You’ll see real‑time location, utilisation and get alerts if anything moves without permission.

How does asset tracking work?

Small, battery‑powered GPS devices attach discreetly to assets and feed data into the online platform. You can set geofences, view movement history and, if theft occurs, activate Thatcham‑approved stolen asset recovery.

Why is asset tracking important?

It improves security, boosts utilisation, lowers insurance costs and helps prevent downtime caused by theft or misplaced equipment.
